The Algerian team’s new goalkeeper Meblouhi to Echorouk: “I don’t care about Egyptian lies… I’m proud of being an Algerian Arab Muslim”

Algeria’s team new goalkeeper Wahab Meboulhi told Echorouk that he does not care to what was said in the Egyptian media, which claim that he descended from a Jewish family; “When I first heard about it I laughed. I red it in one of the Algerian football forums, but I did not understand so far why they promoted such foolish news. I ‘m Algerian and Arab Muslim, I was born in France, and place of birth has nothing to do with religion”.

• Meboulhi said about his future in Slavia Sofia Bulgarian club, “We are at the beginning of the transfers. I played in a large club and presented a good performance, now I am waiting for response, but the head of this team told me that other clubs are interested in signing me in Russia, Turkey, and even in Bulgaria. We will see what future is hiding”.
